Government agencies feel tension? At least we have someone on our side!! Key quotes to look for in this article include:

“The Park Service is out of control in Alaska,” said Alaska Congressman Don Young, the chairman of the U.S. House Committee on Resources, which has jurisdiction over national parks and federal lands. “From violating ANILCA in its effort to keep snowmachines out of our massive parks to this latest fiasco in Glacier Bay, the Park Service has confirmed that it is nothing more than a puppet for the national environmental organizations.”

“As the chairman of the authorizing committee for the Park Service's annual budget, they are now going to have to justify every dollar of spending in Alaska -- every penny. It's quite apparent that the agency has too many employees with too much time on their hands, if this is how they're allocating their resources," said Young. "The Park Service has a serious problem on its hands now, and they're going to have to come up with some answers -- honest and complete answers — very quickly,” said Young.
